01 What is a registration support organization?

A registered support organization is an organization that implements all of the support based on the support plan for Type 1 specified skilled foreign nationals through a support outsourcing contract with the accepting organization (specific skills affiliation organization). If part of the support is outsourced, the scope of the outsourcing must be clearly stated in the support plan for Type 1 specified skilled foreign nationals.
The accepting organization must create and support a plan (Support Plan for Specified Skilled Workers No. 1) for the implementation of support for the professional life, daily life, and social life of the Specified Skilled Workers No. 1 foreign nationals so that they can stably and smoothly carry out activities based on their "Specified Skilled Workers" residence status. Registered support organizations are organizations that can provide "support" and "assistance in creating support plans" for Specified Skilled Workers No. 1 foreign nationals by being commissioned by the Specified Skilled Workers Affiliation Organization.

The Specified Skilled Worker System is a system that allows foreign workers with skills and Japanese language ability to be hired as employees in specified industries (12 types) where there is a serious labor shortage.
